
Block One was planted in 2009 with two clones of Sauvignon Blanc on Rocklin Sandy Loam.
This block was planted with two Sauvignon Blanc Clones, Musque and Clone 530.
Sauvignon Blanc Flavor Profile
Clone 530 gives tropical flavors and aromas with an intriguing additions of greenness, lemon, lime, quince, and green apple, mineral with good acids.
Musque Clone, a flamboyant Bordeaux clone giving crisp clean luscious wine with fresh ripe fruit, complex aromas and flavors of vibrant citrus, key lime, kiwi and melon with a creamy texture leading to a long lingering finish.
2017 Tasting Notes
Guava and some other light tropical notes as well as some grassiness on the nose. Very complex and pleasant. Very varietal but in the fruity rather than veg vein. The flavors are as expected from the nose, fresh, crisp and medium bodied with minerality and a clean finish
